Picnic on the water

The UKs waterways offer a truly unique and exciting way to experience the beauty the country has to offer. Sailing on the water provides a serene and peaceful atmosphere that’s perfect for a picnic with loved ones. With GoBoat, you can bring your own food and rinks onboard to make the experience even more enjoyable.

GoBoat's fleet of boats can take you on a journey through the tranquil canals of our cities while providing a comfortable space for small groups to soak up the sun and take in the views. Whether you’re celebrating a special occasion or just looking for a fun and unique way to spend the day, GoBoat has something for everyone.

What food should you bring?

For your picnic its best to prepare food that’s easy to serve and eat with your hands. Whether its tiny snacks like carrots and hummus and tiny finger sandwiches, or something more fancy such as a homemade charcuterie board finished off with some cupcakes! The choice is yours, let your imagination decide! To ensure your food stays cool and fresh in the summer months we encourage you to bring a cooler and ice packs. Or alternatively, if you don’t fancy preparing your own food, you can buy some food locally to our GoBoat locations. Other essentials for your picnic include a camera, suncream, napkins, blankets, and don’t forget a bag for your rubbish!
